Problem Statement -Despite advancements in technology, nowadays, most blood bank systems are running in manual systems. As such, there is a prevalent problem in the availability of needed blood types, blood bag contamination due to lack of proper documentation, etc. In short, our project aims to determine how the use of an online bank management system enhances blood transfusion safety. We aim to design, develop and implement an online blood bank management system. That will connect the donor and blood bank also with the receiver.

The approach followed - The traditional system follows a very manual approach in the whole system that makes the overall system very slow so we followed the modern approach to developing the website. The overall flow of our system is,

Description - We aim to develop and implement an online blood donation management system. The web-based application allows the receiver to make inventories of blood bags online and also allows them to connect with the donor. Our main objective is to provide easy access for donors to the nearest blood bank and the blood banks to the donors available. Both donors and blood banks have to register as users by creating their user IDs. The donors can then search for the blood banks available near them and the blood-bank administrators will be asked for their id to access the database and look for the available donors. The donors are also asked to provide their health certificates to ensure no terminal illness as such. If the blood bank administrators found a match for the donor they can contact the donor for the booking of an appointment. Through this, the connectivity between the donor and the blood bank becomes easier and safer.

Conclusion - We have successfully created a webpage that can connect the donor and blood bank with each by easier and safer ways.
